Mr. Heinz founded GWH VENTURES LLC in January 2006. Over the last 18 years GWH VENTURES has made real estate, manufacturing, consumer product, and technology investments, in addition to consulting for businesses in various sectors, both in the U.S. and internationally. Mr. Heinz's 11-year banking career began in 1995 where he worked for J.P. Morgan. He left Goldman Sachs in early 2006 to start GWH VENTURES.
Mr. Heinz graduated summa cum laude with a combined B.B.A. / M.B.A. degree in Accounting from Pace University's Lubin School of Business in New York. While at J.P. Morgan, he also completed an intensive Corporate Finance Programme at INSEAD in Fountainebleau, France in 2000.
Mr. Heinz also has a strong record of community service. He served as a trustee on a local Board of Education from 1995 to 1998 and, at the time, was one of the youngest board members in the State of New Jersey . From 2006 until 2010, Mr. Heinz served as President of the Board of Trustees for St. Anthony High School in Jersey City, New Jersey, an inner city high school that served underprivileged students. He also was a Trustee for the Jersey City Medical Center as well as an organization that focused on improving education in the State of New Jersey. Mr. Heinz currently lives in San Antonio, Texas with his wife and two young children. While focusing on his family and work 24/7, he tries to devote any spare minutes to exercise, reading, and learning about new technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence.
